n so... we made it in time for the train. a long way home... 2hrs ++ train ride..... ohh yeah noosa is in zone 23.... whereas we live in zone 1... cool huh.. lol

yes, we missed this stupid bus..

even when the sun sets... okok this was taken in the cab cos we miss the bus... god damn it... $65~~~ the meter jumps every 1.3sec!!!!

i got bored while waiting for the ferry....so decided to take a pic using the timer function...

one thing about aussies is that they are really INTO sports... u can tell from this pic that even the Brisbane river is being fully utilized for canoeing... lol....Regatta ferry terminal...after shopping for groceries, heading home... its about 10 mins walk from here to toowong shopping mall....

so they sell hello kitties in aus too....lol

this is it... toowong shopping mall... great place to buy FRESH groceries....and i mean FRESH...

somewhere near toowong village shopping complex.... on the way to buy groceries after QU bookshop...

on the way to qu bookstore, came across this brisbane boys college. yeah so thats how a australian high sch looks like....lol

after walking for more than 30 mins from regatta ferry terminal and wala~! there it is!!! QU bookstore....a bookstore selling 1st hand textbooks at a fairly cheaper price than the sch's bookshop.... well you get the discounted price at a terrible price....

yos.... don't have much time to update my blog recently as sch has just started....well 1st pic, a free bottle drink i got in sch during orientation week...

after dinner, went home, took a shower....re-planned my course subjects..haiz.... and tats all for today....=)

Jan-Erik, a 22 yr old Norwegian. He is the coolest and by far the friendliest Norwegian I ever met...well its my 1st Norwegian friend of course...he took our "S'pore fear factor" challenge bravely and sportingly by eating durian for the first time under our continued persuasion and confirmation that it isn't as smelly as most westerners perceived it to be....and of cos he learnt how to hold a pair of chopsticks for the 1st time too...lol

had beef noodles at a vietnamese shop....2 days after eating home cooked food, time to eat a little outside food.....$9...haiz ex....not going to eat outside for the next few days...

some pirate mascot performing tricks which looked like a gigantic yoyo to me.....after performance, he just rode off on his tall single wheeled bicycle.... lol

yeah....MARKET DAY....20th feb... everywhere was so crowded....all the clubs and groups are out there hunting for fresh potentials to join their clubs....there is a bunch of gals from a lady's college yelling a cheer or something on the grass patch field.....

after that disappointing lunch...headed home.....nothing much on that day (19th feb)

yeah so thats the noodle store the beef noodle was from (19th feb)

finally after a bath, met up wif joann and went out to buy paper plates and a brush for my laundry.....bought a international calling card for 10 bucks wif a usuage limit of 3333 mins? lol

after which....went back....cooked dinner wif melissa, joann and a gal called nicole somethng...she was a amazing cook.....sianzation no. 7......cos u cant help but feel lucky for her friends to be able to share that amazing meal wif her...... went back....bathed again...went down to joann's to get my pics transferred....and here i am now....doing this blog........gotta wake up tml at 8am for yet another dreadful day of orientation....siansation no. 8.....The end.....

yeah after turning right from qut.... walking down this beautiful downhill road....there u have it.....my nice little cosy home.....siansation no. 6.....cos no ling ling wif me....haiz

while walking home from the ferry terminal...i HAD to pass by QUT....which reminds me how near joann was from her home to sch.....kns....siansation no. 4.....and of cos....while walking... i will always think about ling ling....miss her like crazy.....siansation no. 5.......

yeah....thats my stop right at the centre amongst the bushes.....lol...thats where i board n alight from the ferry every day to and fro from sch.....sianzation no. 3~!

Headed over to the library afterwards and seeked help from a librarian to enroll to a course but eventually to no avail.... siansation...after which i went over to the student centre which was like super super far?! lost my way halfway there and had to seek help from by passers.... siansation no. 2..... sorry....didnt had time to take any pics..... after that. got to chat wif a guy from USA virginia tech....lol my 1st qn for him was " did the shooting affected u?" lol nice guy....

and finally, i went home.....yeah this pic is taken while i was on board the city cat ferry....

met 2 extremely friendly and helpful singaporeans along the way and got some help and invaluable advices from them.....thanx to Ian and Samuel....=) after which i headed over to the book shop and bought a few souvenirs? lol.....

uh huh...some where inside the arts faculty.....

after the briefing,..... had a piece of apple pie.....bit my lips accidentally...arg gonna have a ulcer soon.....haiz.. n after tat....headed over to the faculty of arts which is also just beside the faculty of law.... managed to get there by the help of some really friendly students....

Yeah....orientation....woke up at 7am....had a slice of bread + milk......went to the ferry terminal...took the wrong ferry and went upstream instead of down stream.....but still, i made it in time at 8:50am....lol

went shopping for meat n rice.... somewhere along the street there was this 2 huge fire machine went zoom past us.... well maybe theres a fire somewhere...duh? lol so cooked beef wif rice + chilli sauce.....no pic to show.... sian.....tml due for orientation at 9am.....so it means waking up at 7am.....sian to de max....hopefully tml will be fun.... That is the best present any student could get while dying in a unfamiliar country.

Farewells like this has always been the worst scenario ever especially with family members. =( I will soon be embarking on my adventure in aus.
